Ticks, a serious threat for your dog

Ticks are widely distributed, and the areas where they can be found are expanding. They are noted to be aggressive feeders that will actively seek out hosts like your dog—hence it's important to keep dogs protected.

Keep your home flea and tick-free

Wash in hot water. Dry on high.

Periodically, wash your pet’s bed cover in hot water and dry it on a high heat setting to kill any flea eggs and larvae.

Vacuum your carpets often.

Regular vacuuming of the carpets and rugs in your home is advisable, especially in areas that your pet tends to lounge.

Mow the grass. Remove the leaves.

Make your yard more appealing to the eyes and less appealing to ticks by cutting grass short and eliminating brush piles.
